7270 FritzBox soon with IPv6 for each

After it the first time a test firmware CeBit 2009 with IPv6 was introduced for the FritzBox 7270, the successor to IPv4, is now in the latest "preview on the official firmware" migrating, so it should in the near future, via firmware update hike on each box. So now missing only the ISPs and IPv6 can come. (1 & 1 provides in any case, no address)

Interestingly, however, what will change when migrating to the Internet population to v6 everything. Will my surfing behavior on the basis of my static block is stored (data adé)? Can I bypass an IP ban simply by listing the addresses in my block change or is it a lock for the entire block? How much will the new address for Web servers or do I get there and blocks?

Is certainly interesting.

New FritzBox 7270 without IPv6

Today it seems semi-officially a new firmware for the Fritz box 7270 to be published.

She carries the version number 54.04.70 and there are changes in the telephony and Internet access via UMTS / HSPA has been inserted. (Complete changelog below)

The latest update is apparently not yet been officially released, since neither of the AVM - page nor the AVM - FTP , information can be found to check and update the FritzBox also has its flaws.

ALDI navigation system made ​​fit

The next great leap - WordPress

Now, after a rather unexpected final phase, it is finally here and WordPress 2.5 is released.

The update went (thanks to small changes in your theme) so far without friction over the stage.

In any case, one can say the update has been worth it, if only on the new admin interface.

Have fun updating I wish you, it's worth it!

WordPress 2.5 coming soon!

It was supposed to on 17 March according to WordPress Germany so far and seem to be the next major update WordPress.

But yesterday was both on the maternal side as well as on WordPress Germany everything was quiet.

What has happened to many users asking?

Of course, more news could not wait too long and it was today published version 2.5 RC 1 , with screenshots that promise much.

Urgent WordPress upgrade

The last published update to WordPress 2.3.2 fixes a serious vulnerability in the XML-RPC integration.

Important WordPress Update

Today there is only one event and an update to WordPress 2.3 is coming up.

The current version 2.3.2 plugged several security holes in the old version in which it was not possible for example to read their own drafts.

But also a new feature that comes with the update and that can now be styled in an error page template for database errors.

Yes, I would have almost missed the new version of one of my favorite plugins Semmelstatz.

The best part is that it is a big version jump this time around and so many new features have been incorporated.

Archive goes back!

With a little routine monitoring of the blogs today I had to find scared that my archive is not working anymore. The plugin "KG Archives", with which I create the archive set, just announced a SQL error.

After a brief visit to the site of the developer and downloading the latest version of the plugin, the error was quickly corrected.

phpBB new RC

Now it's time again un another pre-release version of the forum software " phpBB "was published.

How long will the final version would still not arrived, but already much speculation (eg here ), but it will probably still be a long way. For, since 20 May (the release of RC1) has not yet made no typing. Maybe this update is even a little longer than currently sixth RC

Now is also the new support for phpBB 3.0 (Olympus) Mods and Themes on www.phpbb.de .
