A new beginning!

Birthday
Not only that my age has once again increased by one, no, it will also marvel at in the near future many new features. In how far this is related to my real life is entirely up to you. ;-)

New version of the blog
First, I present to you here and now the new version of my blog with countless new features and a completely new design.

New features:

Next time
In the near future then a change of hosting company is announced. For one thing, the stability and speed of all pages can be improved. Secondly, the change entails, naturally, cost savings with them and I have more space for more improvements.

Secondly, a complete rebuilding of fun Synchro.de is planned. The page is supposed to handle in their next version easier, especially as even more interactive.

Anyone who wants to can still features like posting in the forum .

Maybe even a revival of beta-Tests.net is still time permits. This is definitely still in the stars. The domain remains in any case in my hand.

Story of a hostility

With the shutdown of "The Stars" for me one of the darkest chapter of my story ends in the network.

You're probably wondering right now about what is "The Stars" and what I have to do with it!

"The Stars" was, according to operators' Funsynchro The largest database on the Web "and was the kind of site that offer Synchros for download, as it used to be fun doing synchro.

Through this common orientation learned to know sooner or later. How exactly this happened have already in April described.

Could in any case after a few attacks (Linksteal, complaints, ...) but a common solution can be found from both sides should provitieren.

Then more precisely by the frequent exchange of information, probably also some vulnerable pages of fun-synchro were launched. Exactly at that moment had an admin gates of "The Stars" and waited to beat.

When I got a few days later I was called away my email a request for deletion of all "illegal" by your data provider in my inbox. Why am I here "illegally" is in quotes is very simple, my provider did not know whether the offer of synchronizations against the German law violation. Anyway, he had sent emails to the right owner and who knows how that would be expected, I would not have taken the side of the net.

Then followed a rather quiet period, created a new Fun-Synchros for me was on my schedule, so I had no time to even look at Fun-sync over.

But now you can see for a long time, only an error message on their side and also someone from the scene reported that the administrators would have probably lost any desire on their project.

Apparently managed to "The Funsynchro largest database on the Web" failed the stream of time on the Internet withstand.

Rest in peace ... ...

But what I've learned, never trust the former enemies, and never tell a lot about you, because everything can be used against you. Let's hope the fun is now something of synchro no longer blooming.

New idea, new work!

Once I was accosted a buddy, if we do not want to make a Synchro tournament, I barely have time to blog again, because the tournament site will indeed be ready. ;-)
In any case, a new update for wordpress has been released, which, as always -> here <- to download. The version 2.0.4 fixes many bugs again (over 50) and I can only recommend to every webmaster also update to version 2.0.4.

The larger project, which I have already mentioned at the beginning, is a contest between different crews synchro, synchronize groups so the movies and we are trying by means of user polls and the sent short Synchros called "Best Synchro-Crew" in 2006 to be determined.

Of course, a completely new website created for it, but also scat-and display system to be developed, which is a lot of work. If you have a lot of time is not as the problem, but since I'm flying next week in the south, and by then should have the basics, but must be inserted at the time a "small" sprint. So just a few hours to program and increased consumption of nicotine and coffee.

Thank God those days are indeed over and you can be happy again, if one "has behind him" something and the positive effects (eg increased traffic) then gets to feel.

New phpBB and updates on fun Synchro.de

The first thing I announce that I finally made it back up to my CVS phpBB data. Especially with the manual update, I've noticed that there have been many many changes, especially in the database structure since my last update.

Secondly, I can report with pride that I had to add some content could Synchro.de fun and the whole project starts so slowly. In the next few days, even an initial interview is arranged with a synchro crew. It lacks only one that Google indexes all sides and no longer stands in the way of success.

www.fun-Synchro.de restarts!

Thus, there are unfortunately a bit sad to report this time, namely that I had to stop the use of Synchro.de fun because there were legal problems.

What exactly is the old script and how to proceed with the database will be decided at a later date, in any case everything was secured.

One thing is certain, namely, the fun-synchro complete restart. I've made a whole new page (based on PHP-Nuke) to work out where I and one probably. later you inform others about the whole scene of the resynchronization. With extensive testing, a broad community, and tutorials to help make the synchro.

In any case, I hope also your strong support for this ambitious project.

A little time!

Since it was my privilege today again a little to concern myself with the codes and update, I wanted to inform you about all the new times.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that I've found the time to write many new synchros, files and fun mirrors to sync. Furthermore, there is work on the script, of course, be advanced the UCP is ready, just once more extensively tested and provided with the necessary assurances. In addition, just a "program" designed to test the links so that there no longer are so many mirrors that are offline.

Moreover, today the Orion software in all forums, run with it was brought up to date (2.2.4). The patch is of course as always from the Orion forum to be loaded, but the respective operators know the best self-determined.

Even the phpBB 3.0 has been brought up to date, with the eagerly anticipated feature of mine, namely the Jabber support, unfortunately, is not yet finished, but as the saying goes: "Anticipation is the greatest joy."

At last I've finally done it now my wordpress to version 2.0.2 and should now have to bring my side of my web hosts offer little surface ;-). To receive the update is here .

Many, many little things!

For one, the final version of Synchro Fun v2 is not far off, as you can see from this threat here. On the other hand, there are many small innovations.

But first we come to the Second under area51.phpbb.com/cvs there should now always returns the code of the current phpBB version without CVS to download, so who wants to try it now times have no more problems. My phpBB 2.2 was also geupdated again and you can under the current snapshot nerd20.de/forum / view. Maybe even some screenshots soon to come.

On the other beta-testing and were sec-2 now optimized SEO, it is certainly not the last word, but enough for me that way.

The well is much more important, however, that fun-synchro v2 is almost finished, all data is already logged into the database, it must be only the input forms are coded.

Synchro Fun v2 Beta Test

Now he is finally here, the Fun-Synchro beta test. The basic functions are all present, the data of v1 already taken, but ACP + template system and user interface still needs to be coded, but on the whole I can see the test until now been a complete success.

This is still far from what you see all of v2, so look forward to further completions.

Fun in large increments to synchro-v2

Pictures are not grown up here, unfortunately, but one must not still be disappointed, because the version 2 is in a few days under beta.fun-synchro.de reach. The official release will then be announced here.

By and large, everything is ready. It only needs the interface for the user panel and admin panel will be written and a few bugs to be fixed.

Signs of life

So, after I am long since come to blogging I wanted to give here even a few signs of life from me. First I have to disappoint all those who wait on big innovations.

Although, the new version to phpBB Orion 2.de sec- and beta-tests.net played, because this causes a lot of improvements to the system (by which the two standard styles are explained), but I can still not a new Fun Synchro-present. The developments are progressing, but unfortunately there is currently an acute shortage of time. Watch for it available here in the next posting (at least one month) the first screenshots. If all goes well then even fun-synchro is v2 then go into the latest 2 months online. As long as you have patience you yet.

But I hope sincerely that I can do it before because my TODO list already overflowing completely.

So until the next post in anticipation of sore fingers from typing much.
