2009 - Year of the creative junk mail?

Between all the innovations that before my time with regard to the blog and my other projects - everything shines, so beautifully again - there were just one? Spam comment? what gives me hope even at twilight based graphic design changes.

There are five houses in five different colors In each house lives a different nationality. These five owners drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of pet cigar and keep a certain. The man in the center house drinks milk. The Norwegian lives in the first house. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer. The German smokes Prince. The Norwegian lives next to the Blue House. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water. The QUESTION: Who owns the fish?

Webmail and spam

Spam filters are necessary

As it is now necessary for almost any e-mail address a spam filter einzusetzten, many manufacturers of email clients have done so already.

But what is with webmail clients, such as used by me phlyMail ?

Problems with SpamAssassin and Confixx

Now, conveniently in this PHP Webmail client already installed an option to filter spam using external tool. As a default setting is overridden by SpamAssassin

invoked, but this leads received when retrieving mail from a hail of errors because Confixx web server defaults to the $ HOME directory is not writable. These settings are on easy web hosting in most cases determined by the host, and so not changeable. So, somehow had found another way to forth.

Reputable providers on spamming?

Suddenly it started, 64th. 105 ... 210 new messages.

But this time not with normal spam, how to know him otherwise, of dubious Viagra, sex or, more recently, vacuum cleaners and record sellers, but with error string from various mail servers, which meant that someone was not sent to me undeliverable.

New Blog Spammer!

Beginnings of the WordPress spam
Initially, spammers were still using the comment feature of WordPress for their advertising messages on internet sites would see to. Anyway, I have this rather annoying new proteges of spammers firstonce off using a plugin here. The plugin is called WP-Deadbold and reviews the domains of email addresses of users logging on using a white or black list, and prohibits the registration, if it comes to conflict.

Spam fighting? Forget it!

is filtered by the now almost 100% of all thanks to Akismet spam from the comments, I thought now lean back.

But wrong thought, suddenly a wave came Trackback spammers.

What do you do, however, correct a plugin has her check out what trackbacks. The best way I came here, the solution to the " Simple Trackback Validation plugin is used. Spam, now estethisch?

Since I visit again purely routine moderate my website, yet so hated around the back to remove all spam. Could be made but in spite of all security mechanisms and what I see?

In addition to several pictures with pornographic content also four pictures ....

One wonders only why something like come on what is actually in a place for porn ads?

A short visit to the referred page, there are no movies here once sold, but unsuspecting user to be captured a virus.

And when you think times spammers make mistakes ;-)

Spam, one of the worst epidemics digital

How often do we receive daily advertising? On websites, in television or in magazines, everywhere advertise colorful ads for the most impossible things.

Against these forms, it can certainly have no objection, since they even sometimes more sometimes less can handle easily.

Manuals, errors, and relaxation

Today, I once found the time to the site in www.body-snatcher.ath.cx to update a little, therefore, there are now a different structure, which is based on subdomains, so that I can the traffic be better distributed. About the thttpd web server can easily be implemented subdomains, but you have to reboot the server every time one creates a new, or was linked to an existing folder deletes. But now WordPress again today I finally came to the fact that Akismet plug-in here to install. This is an antispam plugin, which reviewed the comments made here are based on a central database, and filters. The installation was fairly simple, but for my taste a little too long. There has so far worked perfectly and this blog should not be more victims of large spam attacks.
