WordPress 2.5 comes later!
It was supposed to on 17 March according to WordPress Germany and so far appear to be the next major WordPress update.
But yesterday was both the mother's side and on WordPress Germany all was still.
What has happened to many users asked?
Of course, could not wait for more news and it was too long today released version 2.5 RC 1 , the promising, with screenshots.

Major WordPress update
Today there is only one event and an update to WordPress 2.3 is coming up.
The current version 2.3.2 security holes stuffed some of the old version where it was not possible for example to read their own drafts.
But a new feature that comes with the update and that can now be styled in the template, an error page for database errors.

Bookmarking designs new!
From today you can now even easier to add items from my blog in your favorite social bookmarking services.
Simply click on 'Save & Share "and you will open a list of bookmarking services available to you.
This new version has replaced the old bookmarking, since the new design is still far from clear.
Realized the whole thing was based on the 'Save & Tell "- Plugin by Jott, which formerly as the German version of Share This was started.

Finally made the WordPress 2.3 update
But a little later than planned, I am now on the update of WordPress made to version 2.3.
In the beginning everything went well. Backup done, uploaded new data, but then came the disappointment.
The only thing that was visible on the screen a blank white page!
Well, then went through plugins and updated in order. After the error in the plugin then " Markdown was found ", finally could include new features in WordPress 2.3 are tested.
Much has been discussed already, the new Tagfunktion by WordPress, with developers such as Ultimate Tag Warrior wanted (the UTW) make it unnecessary, at least in some features.
When finally all the links, and function calls in my template from UTW were removed, it went to the "testing" of new features and even browsing the WordPress Docs ( en ) which there is essentially only two functions that work with tags. Once " the_tags () ", which related to a post tags, and outputs the" wp_tag_cloud () ", which generates a tagcloud tags with weights.
Finally, I can only say that the new achievements in the field of "tagging" for most people most likely will not be really useful, especially since RECOURSE functions, such as missing Metataggeneration. But it is still version 2.4 ;-)

New Game Section
After the old section for Flash games has met with great success, I've made up my mind between my other projects yet to open a base for Flash games.
The result you see here now: games.body-snatcher.de
I made this decision because, firstly, is the administering of the much lighter and made her fast new games I get and secondly so that those who have only to do with the games, and do not visit the blog, vote and comment also can .
For creating the page was AV Arcade in the latest version (number 3) is used with current bugfixes. Since this script is not quite the outgoing HTML was just my needs, but had a little more time than planned to be invested in the restructuring and change the code.
In my opinion it was worth it for sure!
