Logfile kills the hard drive

Suddenly, nothing more. No sessions, no database connection, etc.

write failed: No space left on device (28)

Provided the SQL database, but as the hard disk may be full as if it was yesterday almost empty?

ls-Lah $ (find /-type f-size +10000 k)

Turned out to be listed as a very helpful because it allows this command, all files larger than 10MB of size.

So quick was the guilty file, a log file which has expanded to a whopping 55GB.

That's how we before the Friday afternoon ;)

XAMPP and Imagick (MagickWand)

Great, if an error message as long as a stop, although the solution is so simple.

Class 'Imagick' not found in ...

Thus, only one was missing in the Windows system environment variable, which must be set as follows.

Computer-> right click-> Properties-> Advanced-> Environment Variables-> User-..

MAGICK_HOME = path / to / Imagick / config files (eg C :/ Imagick / config)

Many thanks to Mikko's blog for the answer!

Aldi navigation system in good shape

For a long time ago, 95 780 for the purchase of the Medion MD. There must be a software update but actually sometimes ago.

After a little Google a quick solution was found. The software had to be upgraded to 3.0 from GoPal 1.1.

First, then, was a firmware update to allow the new software could also be brought to work. This was due to simple instructions , and so could be done quickly on to the next step.

The current version of the software can store Medion GoPal be obtained and called 3.xx.

This can be very easy to back on the PNA 510T install and then I was able to enjoy newer maps and improved handling.

Now you have the updated navigation system to show only in the road test.

Vista SP 1 installation with an X1600 Pro

First problems occurred even when you first install Microsoft Windows Vista with a X1600 Pro card during installation.

This made it possible to run the installation but, but always ended up in a blue screen. A replacement card by an aging but then helped with the installation and switched back helped by the installation, but it was more than a nuisance.

If you think but the fact that suddenly the same problem when installing the latest service pack (SP1) return appearance. The problem, once started the installation, she can no longer be reversed so real.

There was only to download a Vista DVD with SP1 Integrated and using the old work-arounds (the graphics card exchange) during installation.

A fun it is to get that is definitely not moving, the speed advantages of the service packs.

Downloads are the Vista DVD with SP1 it on MSDN and various relevant forums.

Good luck with the update and a video card supporting the proper experiences.
