Since I also wanted to finally install a gallery for my blog, I went to look now.
After I went through a bit of the internet I came across this site and decided spontaneously to myGallery .
The installation was quick and easy, as it very detalliert instructions here are. The only problem I've still hang with the safe_mode together, but that it should be also solved the near future.
So if you are looking for a gallery plugin for Wordpress, which I can only recommend myGallery. Here, though initially many features are still quite hidden, but after reading the documentation , you realize how many great features to provide this plugin.
